BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Infrastructure Services team based at Nadi.  This role will be integral in our Infrastructure Services’ business development activities. You will work closely other business development resources to strategically position the business in the market and maximise opportunities in the delivery of long-term relationships and opportunities.

KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively develop new business opportunities through market and industry research and lead generation.

  • Identify potential clients and build relationships.

  • Initiate contact with prospects through various channels, including cold calling and networking.

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and address their needs.

  • Prepare and coordinate tender proposals with in-house teams, including the estimators, designers, and project managers in accordance with risk, technical and commercial guidelines.

  • Develop and grow marketing and capability documentation.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders/clients, peers and colleagues.

  • Demonstrated ability in sales lead generation and database management. Ability to develop detailed understanding of the infrastructure/utilities services market, its customers, and the competitive landscape.

  • Experience in the utilities/infrastructure sector is desirable. 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience.

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
